New Construction

With New Construction (Residential), errors/mistakes can sometimes happen while new construction is in process. A new-construction, residential home-inspection, prior to the final walk-through with your builder/contractor, helps to ensure any problem areas noted, are addressed before your final move-in date.

Pre-Listing Inspection

Want to sale your home? A pre-listing inspection is the perfect opportunity for educational awareness. It allows Valor Inspection Services to inform you of any defects or areas of concern that may require the time/attention needed to obtain reasonable repair quotes prior to listing. This can assist in obtaining a full price offer.  ​

Commercial Inspections

Buying a commercial building is a big investment. Before making a purchase, a portfolio manager typically orders a building inspection and report, which provides important information about the building’s condition that’s needed to make a wise buying decision. A good commercial building inspection highlights the actual condition of a property. Many specialize in both residential and commercial inspections – but be careful. A commercial inspection is different from a residential inspection. A commercial property inspection will check the structure and grounds, interior walls and insulation, windows and doors, electrical and mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, the roof and HVAC equipment.

Mobile/Manufactured Homes

Valor Inspection Services will locate the manufacturer’s tag/sticker indicating age and county registration requirements. We will locate and inspect electrical wiring issues including GFCI protection, location of meter, proper electrical grounding for factory-built homedesign, condition of foundation/piers, identify improper pier shims, bent or damaged I-beams, damaged skirting, presence, condition and installation methods of adverse weather straps or tie-downs, water sealed seams on roofing, exterior wall sheathing and penetrations such as doors and windows. Also included are all other services consistent with a residential home inspection.

Pool Inspection

Safety and proper equipment operation are the key to enjoying your pool or spa. Our inspection will examine such things as pool motors, pumps and heaters, plumbing and more and recommend repairs as needed. We’ll also check diving boards, decks, ladders, among other things, to make sure there are no safety concerns.

11 Month Reinspection

An 11-month inspection is a comprehensive evaluation of the interior and exterior of a newly built home and its major systems and components. It is also known as a Warranty Inspection, which is the builder’s warranty of a new construction home that covers you for the first year of the house. The inspection is performed in the 11th month of your occupancy of the home, due to home builders’ warranties typically lasting 1 year (although they can last up to two years). The inspection is critical to finding defects in the home that might have happened during the home ownership process or were not found before.
